Yes. We do not use client data or communications to train our models. Your matter-specific information remains within your account environment. The platform is architected so that privilege cannot be inadvertently waived through use of the AI.

OpusLaw uses enterprise-grade encryption for all data in transit and at rest, and is built on secure cloud infrastructure with strict access controls. Your data is never used to train AI models, and attorney-client privilege protection is built into our architecture. We are committed to pursuing industry security certifications as we grow.
Can I control what data is shared with the AI?
Yes. You decide what context to provide in each session. There is no background data harvesting or persistent profiling across sessions. You can also configure organisational privacy settings to restrict certain document categories from being submitted to the AI.
Where is my data stored and processed?
Data is processed in enterprise-grade data centres with physical and logical access controls. Data residency options are available for firms with specific jurisdictional requirements. We do not transfer data across borders without explicit consent and appropriate legal basis.
